June 13th is Global Wellness Day! FSA is an avid supporter of wellness. We thank Belgin Aksoy for her passion for world wellness and for creating "I Say Yes" to Global Wellness Day. We are taking an active role in this movement, and plan to spread the message. On June 30th we are hosting the Welcome Wellness Event, featuring a panel of 5 doctors sharing their insight on how well-being enhances the quality of life and how that message can also impact your spa.

Happy June, everyone! We look forward to hearing from you all month long!

Julie Bach is a visionary, philanthropist, and founder of Spa4ThePink. Her passion lies in bringing together spa, yoga, and mindfulness practitioners with integrative and traditional medical therapies to improve quality of life for our cancer community. FSA Spring Event - "Cinco de Mayo - The After Party"

img Location: SI Spa Marriott Palm Beach, Singer Island
Date: 05-06-2015
Time: 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Our FSA Spring Event themed "Cinco de Mayo - The After Party" was held at the luxurious Si Spa Marriott Palm Beach, Singer Island. Guests enjoyed a day-long event including an extensive vendor exhibition, pampering and educational treatment experiences, 2 keynote speakers, Julie Bach on "Wellness for Cancer" and Vicky Weis of Faye's Light - "Point of Light"; both very much needed initiatives for educating spas on how to treat cancer patients. We also had a mid-day break serving teas, finger sandwiches and... Sake! A Mexican Fiesta was held at the end of the event and included a Mexican Taco food station, Margaritas, and Tequila shots as we were entertained by a Mariachi Band. The evening was fun-filled with guests wearing sombreros, mustaches, and shaking those Mexican maracas as they enjoyed the atmosphere of the night. Best of all was breaking the piñatas, which brought on waves of laughter as strange and edgy prizes fell out. The event was very successful and filled with vendor/spa bonding, lots of smiles and laughter, and a whole lot of wellness!!
